Foreword
The cross-bearing churches of South Korea must now take the lead, offering heartfelt, tearful prayers for the reunification and resurrection of the nation and its people. We must spearhead a movement of repentance. Our churches must become the driving force behind promoting purity and establishing a right spirit.
As powerful and able proclaimers of God’s Word, we must declare to the countless youth and to the many lives in both North and South Korea, to the multitudes like piles of dry bones who live but have forgotten God: “O God, Talitha Koum! Talitha Koum! Make them rise!” We must have the same cry as the prophet Ezekiel, facing the countless exposed graves in both North and South Korea, “O you who are dead, rise up! Come out!” I pray in the name of the Lord that you all become conveyors of resurrection and eternal life, and proclaimers of the Word on behalf of Christ!
We must pray: “Living Lord, grant courage, power, and grace to the leaders of the Korean churches to fulfill their mission. And to the nation’s leaders, instill in them beautiful hearts of faith that rely solely on Your mighty hand.”
We must earnestly pray to the living God that the seasonal winds of national unification and revival blowing over this nation will not be broken, but will at last bear fruit. “Resurrection and the Unification of the Nation” (Ezekiel 37:1-23)
